MAISON IZEL was born from a passion, that of Chrystèle, who began her adventure in the summer of 2016 on the island of Groix, her family stronghold.

This project is first and foremost a story of family and sharing: with her children, in the summer, Chrystèle begins by selling baskets on the island market, attracting attention and cultivating a taste for crafts and beautiful things.

Little by little, a small website was created, allowing people to share the treasures brought back from their travels in Morocco.

What was a hobby to please oneself gradually became a more serious adventure, especially when Chrystèle decided to expand her offering.

She added jewelry from elsewhere, including the famous golden Buddhist bangles that her friends admired.

These bracelets, although magnificent, leave traces of gold powder wherever they go. That's when an idea germinates: to create a better finished, more worked, and higher quality bangle.

This idea takes her to Thailand, where she meets a craftsman who shares her vision and is committed to producing bangles that meet her expectations.

Together, they perfected the technique, incorporating gold leaf and a connector engraved with a mantra, creating an iconic piece.

The first models – gold, shiny silver, champagne and pink gold – were immediately a great success.

Inspired, Chrystèle imagined a colorful version, the Rainbow collection, with six bright colors, which comes in different finishes: the thin, twisted, braided bracelet.

The range quickly expanded with new models such as the double braid, the infinity, and the maxi braid.

Today, MAISON IZEL offers a wide range of colors and a global presence with numerous resellers, leaving a strong mark in the world of jewelry.

We are proud to be able to prove our seniority in the history of the Buddhist bangle and our Rainbow collection, thanks to archives and original designs developed from the beginning of our adventure.

Despite many attempts at imitation, our authenticity and the quality of our craftsmanship have remained unmatched, and we continue to create unique pieces with our trusted craftsman.

Today, we work on a human scale, with a mainly family team.

Chrystèle works alongside her two nieces, who actively participate in every stage of the creation and development of MAISON IZEL, reinforcing the family spirit that is at the heart of our brand.

In addition, we also express our love for fabrics and craftsmanship through our clothing and accessories, derived from Indian know-how.

Each piece demonstrates our respect for artisanal traditions, adding a touch of authenticity and creativity that fully embodies the spirit of MAISON IZEL.
